With over 10 years of experience working in the travel and tourism industry in Kenya, Joseph Aengwo has exceptional experience working in diverse settings across the country. He was formally trained at Moi University receiving a Diploma in Tourism and Wildlife Management graduating with distinction. As well, he holds certificates in Tour Guiding and Administration from Wildlife Clubs of Kenya and Fundamentals in Ornithology from the Elsamere Field Study Centre. Joseph is also a member of Kenya Safari Guides Association.
Joseph has extensive experience guiding tours in Samburu, Lake Nakuru, Naivasha, Maasai Mara, Amboseli, Tsavo East and Tsavo West, Araboko Sokoke Forest, Abaderes National Park, Lake Baringo, Lake Bogoria, and Kakamega Rainforest. Additionally, he has worked with renowned conservation initiatives such as the Colobus Trust in Diani Beach, and the Lake Baringo Biodiversity Conservation Group.
Joseph is passionate about ornithology, conservation, wildlife, and traveling. He enjoys sharing this passion with guests providing exceptional insight into the wildlife, birds and cultures present in Kenya.
